Convoyin’ For Wishes
The Central Illinois Truck Convoy exists to engage the trucking community in a yearly fundraiser event for the Make-a-Wish Foundation of Illinois. The convoy originally started as the Coles County Truck Convoy and has expanded into Central Illinois Truck Convoy as the support has grown across the Central Illinois area. All proceeds from the convoy will benefit the Illinois Make-A-Wish Foundation, which grants family vacations, special birthday parties and other wishes to children with life-threatening medical conditions. The foundation has granted more than 10,000 wishes in Illinois since its inception in 1983.
We donated $31,000 from our 2023 event to Make-A-Wish. The 2024 event will take place in Effingham County to make room for a bigger event with the opportunity to raise more funds. This years event will feature a 2 day truck show with a concert being held on Friday, August 23 and Saturday will have more activities including a live auction, silent auction and we will end the 2 day event with our annual truck convoy through local towns.
